BENDING RUBBER JIGS
WHAT MAKES A GOOD JIG?
Having multiple holes for more inner wall contact of the bending rubber. This makes sliding over the distal end easier and doesn’t bunch up the mesh.
Two sets of holes as close to the end as possible allows the rubber to make inner wall contact closer to the end.
Don’t round the ends , smooth but squared off, to allow the rubber to grip the end rather than sliding over the corner.
Honed inner wall to provide smooth burr free rubber contact.
Thicker walled tubing so it can withstand an accidental drop.
Stainless steel construction. Light, yet strong and durable. Stainless looks good even in an acid prone environment. If tools look good, then techs feel good about themselves and their job.
Laser welded seams for strength and minimal added weight.
All surfaces polished and smooth so it won’t grab anything on the desk top.
Minimal outer wall to keep a low profile while in use so jig is close to the desk top.
